Nothing’s Changed

“Let’s take a drive through the old town, back past the place where we met. Some things are hard to remember, some things you’ll never forget...”

In my previous painting, I mentioned that music is like a travel companion for my art. For me, the right track isn't just background noise; it's the catalyst that sparks my creativity and sets the mood for my work. I rarely sketch before painting, preferring to let the music guide my brushstrokes.

This particular painting is inspired by a cherished childhood memory. When we were kids, my siblings and I loved playing in the forest and fields near our grandfather's house in Sweden. Whether it was hide-and-seek or building huts, we always found something fun to do.

A few years ago, I revisited this special place. As the title of the painting suggests, nothing’s changed. Some things are hard to remember, some things you'll never forget.

This painting is a tribute to those timeless moments that stay with us forever.
