My earliest memory in the area of graphic design work dates back to the early 1990s, when I was asked to create some design prints for my local baseball club in Sweden. At that time, everything I did was hand-drawn, a process that required meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of the visual elements that would resonate with our community. This initial foray into graphic design quickly evolved, and I eventually became the official graphic and web designer for the club. For many years, I was responsible for all their prints and artworks, a role that not only honed my skills but also cemented my passion for the field.
Being a graphic designer, artist, illustrator, and photographer has profoundly shaped my creative journey. It has provided me with a versatile toolkit that allows me to venture into and explore a wide array of disciplines. I have found immense joy in applying my design sensibilities to interior design, creating spaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Similarly, my work in exterior and landscape design has been deeply rewarding, as I blend natural elements with artistic concepts to create harmonious environments.
Moreover, my graphic design background has seamlessly allowed me to explore game design, where visual storytelling and interactive elements come together to engage and captivate players. In product design, I have leveraged my understanding of form, function, and user experience. Each of these areas has enriched my perspective, allowing me to approach design challenges with a holistic and innovative mindset.
My work has also led me into the enchanting world of cake design, where graphic design and typography come alive in 3D. Working in this dynamic and fleeting environment presents unique challenges, as the materials often demand meticulous planning and a careful touch. Time is rarely on my side, but that's part of what makes it so exciting and rewarding.
Reflecting on my journey, I am grateful for the diverse opportunities that graphic design has afforded me, enabling me to continuously grow and evolve as a creative professional.
