Near Dawn

"The Man in Black fled across the dessert, and the gunslinger followed."

Who doesn't love Stephen King? I think I've devoured nearly all of his books, though I still have a few of his latest works left to read.

The inspiration for this painting comes from several of his stories, but it's mainly drawn from one of my all-time favorites, "The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger." This book not only captivated me with its rich narrative but also introduced me to the breathtaking art of Michael Whelan. His illustrations brought King's world to life in a way that deeply resonated with me and influenced my own artistic journey.
