Often, I find myself drawn to painting from memory, cherishing the essence of a place rather than its exact location. This piece, born from recollections, embodies that sentiment.

As a child, I spent countless hours at my grandfather's house in the northern part of Sweden, immersing myself in the breathtaking natural surroundings. Certain areas held an air of intimidation, yet they were also remarkably soothing. However, what truly fascinated me was how, during tumultuous weather, chaos seamlessly transformed into a serene calmness, a testament to the extraordinary beauty of Sweden's nature that continues to captivate me to this day.
