COMICS
“—it was like a daily treat that I still cherish.”
Growing up, I was always drawn to comics, captivated by both the visuals and the storytelling. Calvin and Hobbes, along with Peanuts, have profoundly influenced my style. I fondly remember eagerly flipping to the last pages of the newspaper where the comics were located—it was like a daily treat that I still cherish.
My journey into drawing comics began during my baseball years in Sweden. Our American coach once asked me to create simple rewards for each player, highlighting significant moments from that season. That was back in 1994. This request sparked a passion, and in 1999, we decided to continue this tradition. For several years, I drew these comics after each game, creating what became known as my "a baseball chronicle" series.
Each illustration captured the essence of our team's experiences and provided a unique, personal touch to our memories. Today, you can see this collection on my Instagram account, where I continue to share my love for comics and storytelling. Reflecting on this journey, I realize how much these early influences and experiences have shaped my artistic path.
